4MBS Classic FM is home to Australia’s largest classical music festival, the Festival of Classics, which affords professional performance opportunities for hundreds of Queensland artists each year. The theme of the 2022 Festival is ‘The Great Romantics’, and its opening concert on 8 May coincides with the 150th anniversary of The Queensland Choir. The Festival of Classics runs from 8 May 2022- 29 May 2022, with performances from The Queensland Choir, Ipswich City String Quartet, Gold Coast Piano Quartet, Alex Raineri, Ensemble Q, John Granger Fisher and much more!
