  • Lesson Guidelines

    Beginner: New, and up to AMEB Grade 2 (approximately)

    Amateur: 1-2 years of experience, AMEB Grade 3+

    Advanced: AMEB Grade 6+

    Lessons can be conducted individually in person, via online platforms such as zoom, skype, facebook messenger, facetime etc. Lesson times can be scheduled to match availabilities and school/work schedules.

Harp Lessons

In addition to teaching technical skills of playing the harp - it is also important build the foundational skills of music such as note reading, theory & aural skills. Grace believes that all of these skills are important for one to have a rounded musical education and are equally important for progression in harp. Whilst basic music skills such as note reading and rhythmic understanding is helpful, Grace also includes such elements in her lessons.

Teaching & Lessons

Grace offers private harp lessons one on one as well as online lessons via numerous platforms (skype, zoom, messenger etc). With experience of over 20 years of harp playing, she is able to teach all ages and skill levels (beginner children to adults of varying levels) for AMEB exams and for fun. 

Lessons come in 30min, 45min, and 60min lessons. Available via in person as well as online. In person lessons are offered mainly at students place, however studio lessons can also be arranged. There is a travel fee of $10.00 on top of the lesson fee. 

Whilst Grace specialises in teaching and playing the harp, she also teaches piano & cello privately and at schools.
